1. Open the File
2. In layer window double click the <background> layer and click ok.
3. Delete the background color around you image
4. You will see a dark and white squares
5. Now go to File>Save for Web
6. Select the image and then look to the top right.
7. Select the drop down and find PNG
8. After Selecting PNG look under the drop down for transparent and make sure it is checked
9. Then click <Save>
10. Done
Photoshop Element 1. Open the File
2. In layer window double click the <background> layer and click ok.
3. Delete the background color around you image
4. You will see a dark square and a white square
- That is what you want
5. Now go to File>Save As

6. In the drop down under the name select PNG
7. Name it and then save
8. Done
